It’s very true that the convenience of wireless, whether at coffeeshops or in the airport or anywhere else, makes it easy to overlook the security issues.

Escaping to a cafe to work can be good for small business owners, but the security risk is so high. I’m looking forward to a time when wi-fi is safe and secure. It can’t be too far away.

You know, if you’re just escaping to the cafe for some time to write and brainstorm and maybe do some unstressful planning, there’s no worries. Just don’t connect to the wi-fi, and you’ve got no security exposure!
