Which Type of Calendar?

Which type of calendar or planner do you find most effective?  There are many types and many ways to organize.  Some people use just one type; others combine print and electronic.  Nowadays, there are even systems you can download to your cell phone or iphone.

Schedule book with calendar
Wall calendar combined with one in your pocket or purse

Organizing Your Messages

How do you organize your messages…for business and for family matters?  We live in a multigenerational home, so there are messages for three generations of family. 
Where do we post them so they won’t get lost, so the appropriate person gets them in a timely fashion, so we’ll make sure we’ve acted upon them.
We do have a phone message pad with duplicate pages.  However, it’s only located by the one phone of easy access to all family members.

Do you have a calendar, in addition to your “to do” list, that lets you keep on track with your work each day, week, and month?  This notes orders, deadlines, and those you’ve filled.
In our multi-generational household, we have a large, regular monthly calendar on the wall.  There we all write down appointments, church and work schedules, meetings and recreational days.  We coordinate our schedules accordingly.
