Are you wondering how networking can help you stay organized?

Talking to your peers can help you in many ways. You can get ideas about what’s working for them, recommendations on software and services that they like. Networking can save you time. Wouldn’t you like to hear first-hand experience on something, rather than having to do a lot of research? Well, you would still want to do research, but some recommendations from people you trust can go a long way towards helping you make a decision.

Need an accountant? Payroll help? Maybe an HR consultant? Networking can help you find assistance. Why waste time with sight unseen companies if you know someone who can give you a referral. It’s how business is done and it saves you time.

The more organized you are, the better networker you can be. How? Keep track of who you have conversations with. Jot down pertinent details so you can refer back to your notes later. Then, if you need a virtual assistant, you’ll know who told you last month that they have a terrific virtual assistant. And then you can call for a recommendation.

And good networking can bring you more business, too. Make sure you have your business cards easily accessible and hand them out when you meet someone new. You never know where the next referral is going to come from. More business, more clients mean you’ll need to be more organized to keep track of everything. But that’s a good byproduct of networking!

So networking can help you save time, get more business, and give you even more reasons to keep organized. How has networking helped you?

Image: thegoldguys.blogspot.com

Post from: My Organized Biz
