If you haven’t discovered text messaging on your cell phone or iPhone, you may want to consider it as a way to save time with phone calls.
Generally, when on the phone, you get involved longer than planned unless you’re very self-willed.
With text messaging, you can send and receive messages at leisure and answer when you have time. You also can access e-mail messages and send them with some phones with Internet access. Nowadays, people seem to spend much time on the phone, especially cell phones. Wherever you go, you see them with phones almost glued to their ear. Or they’re text messaging. If you’re trying to talk with someone, whether in a store, in a meeting, on the street, they’ll grab for the phone when it rings and answer it, or at least text. Their mind will be half on what they’re discussing with you and what the person on the phone is communicating.
